On 7 December 2025, during the funeral of Khosrow Alikordi in Sabzevar, Mohammad Hossein Mohbbi Zadeh was arrested by security forces and transferred to the quarantine ward of Sabzevar Prison. He was later moved to Joveyn Prison. On 17 August of the previous year, his prison sentence was converted to an open prison term, and he was released from Sabzevar Prison.
Mohammad Hossein Mohbbi Zadeh was arrested on 11 December 2024, after appearing at the enforcement branch of the Joveyn Prosecutor's Office, and was transferred to Sabzevar Prison to serve his sentence. He faces several legal cases and was sentenced to imprisonment by both the Criminal Court and the Revolutionary Court in different parts of his case.
In October 2024, the Revolutionary Court of Joveyn County sentenced him to a total of 22 months and 17 days of imprisonment for charges of propaganda against the regime and insulting the founder of the Islamic Republic. He was also sentenced to two years of imprisonment by Branch 101 of the Criminal Court Two of Joveyn County for insulting Islamic sanctities. This sentence was upheld by Branch 35 of the Khorasan Razavi Court of Appeal.
In May 2024, Mohammad Hossein Mohbbi Zadeh was arrested and transferred to Sabzevar Prison after being summoned to the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office of Joveyn County. He was released on bail after four days. This political prisoner from Joveyn County has previously faced legal actions due to his activities.
در تاریخ 2 تیر 1405، محکومیت حبس محمدحسین محبی زاده، زندانی سیاسی اهل شهرستان جوین به پایان رسید. این زندانی سیاسی پیشتر در تاریخ 21 خرداد 1405 به مرخصی متصل به آزادی از زندان جوین اعزام شده بود.
گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که پرونده محمدحسین محبی زاده در رابطه با شرکت وی در مراسم خاکسپاری خسرو علیکردی همچنان مفتوح است و او با اتهامات تبلیغ علیه نظام و همکاری با گروه های معاند مواجه شده است. همچنین، در پی اعمال بخشنامه عفو، هشت ماه از مدت محکومیت حبس وی کسر شده بود.
در تاریخ 16 آذر 1404، در جریان برگزاری مراسم خاکسپاری خسرو علیکردی در سبزوار، محمدحسین محبی زاده توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت و به بند قرنطینه زندان سبزوار منتقل شد و پس از مدتی به زندان جوین انتقال یافت. در تاریخ 26 مرداد سال گذشته، محکومیت حبس وی به رای باز تبدیل و از زندان سبزوار آزاد شد.
محمدحسین محبی زاده در تاریخ 20 آذر 1403، پس از حضور در شعبه اجرای احکام دادسرای جوین بازداشت و جهت تحمل دوران محکومیت حبس خود به زندان سبزوار منتقل شده بود. او با چند پرونده قضایی مواجه است و در پرونده نخست توسط دادگاه کیفری و در بخش دیگری از این پرونده توسط دادگاه انقلاب به حبس محکوم شده بود.
در مهر 1403، دادگاه انقلاب شهرستان جوین او را بابت اتهامات تبلیغ علیه نظام و توهین به بنیان گذار جمهوری اسلامی، مجموعاً به 22 ماه و 17 روز حبس تعزیری محکوم کرد. او از بابت اتهام توهین به مقدسات اسلام نیز، توسط شعبه 101 دادگاه کیفری دو شهرستان جوین به دو سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شد. حکم مذکور توسط شعبه 35 دادگاه تجدیدنظر استان خراسان رضوی تأیید شد.
محمدحسین محبی زاده، در اردیبهشت 1403، پس از احضار به دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب شهرستان جوین، بازداشت و به زندان سبزوار منتقل شد. او پس از چهار روز با تودیع وثیقه آزاد شده بود. این زندانی سیاسی اهل شهرستان جوین پیش از این نیز از بابت فعالیت های خود سابقه برخوردهای قضایی را داشته است.
