On Thursday, September 14, 2023, law enforcement officers in Ilam Province arrested Batoul Omidi and Fakhrieh Omidi.
In recent days, Fakhrieh Omidi and her sister Batoul Omidi, two civil activists residing in Ilam Province, were arrested by law enforcement officers and transferred to Ilam Central Prison.
A source revealed that Batoul Omidi and her sister Fakhrieh Omidi were arrested by a mobile patrol unit of law enforcement in Ilam Province while they were writing slogans and distributing protest leaflets. After being transferred to the detention center at the Ilam Provincial Command Headquarters and undergoing interrogation and indictment, they were moved to the general ward of Ilam Central Prison. They are currently in poor mental and psychological condition due to the manner of their treatment during interrogation and investigation.
The source further added that the charges presented by the prosecutor of the Public and Revolutionary Court of Ilam Province against them were "propaganda activities against the regime" and "slogan writing," with an initial temporary detention order issued for one month.

روز پنجشنبه ۲۳شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲، ماموران نیروی انتظامی در استان ایلام، بتول امیدی و فخریه امیدی را بازداشت کردند.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، طی روزهای اخیر، فخریه امیدی و خواهر وی بتول امیدی، دو فعال مدنی، ساکن استان ایلام، توسط ماموران نیروی انتظامی، بازداشت و به زندان مرکزی اایلام منتقل شدند.
به نقل از یک فرد مطلع در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”بتول امیدی و خواهرش فخریه امیدی، در حال شعارنویسی و پخس تراکتهای اعتراضی توسط واحد گشت خودروی نیروی انتظامی در استان ایلام، بازداشت و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه ستاد فرماندهی استان ایلام و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام به بند عمومی در زندان مرکزی ایلام منتقل شدند و با توجه به نحوه برخورد آنها در مرحله بازجویی و بازپرسی در حال حاضر در وضعیت روحی و روانی نامناسبی بسر می برند.”
این منبع مطلع در ادامه افزود:”اتهام تفهیم شده توسط بازپرس شعبه دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب استان ایلام بر علیه این افراد(فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام)، (شعارنویسی) عنوان شده است اما قرار بازداشت موقت اولیه آنها ۱ ماهه صادر شده است.”
