According to the Campaign of Baluch Activists on Monday September 9 2024 Sobhan Dehvary a resident of Sistan and Baluchestan province living in Tehran was arrested by security forces and taken to an unknown location.
An informed individual stated that the arrest of Sobhan Dehvary occurred following the visit of security agents to his workplace at the "Varna Danay Makran Cultural and Social Organisation."
The arrest of Sobhan Dehvary took place after he as a political activist was a candidate for the position of "Advisor on Youth Affairs to the Minister of Interior."

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران به نقل از کمپین فعالین بلوچ روز دوشنبه ۱۹ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۳ سبحان دهواری اهل استان سیستان و بلوچستان ساکن تهران توسط نیروهای امنیتی دستگیر و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شد.
براساس اعلام یک فرد مطلع:”بازداشت سبحان دهواری در پی مراجعه ماموران امنیتی به محل کار وی واقع در «سازمان فرهنگی و اجتماعی ورنا دانای مکران» صورت گرفته است.”
بازداشت سبحان دهواری پس از آن صورت گرفته که این شهروند بعنوان فعال سیاسی از کاندیداهای سِمَت «مشاور امور جوانان وزیر کشور» بود.
