On Monday, September 11, 2023, Zaniar Maghdoori and Fardin Khoshkhaah, residents of Oshnavieh County in West Azerbaijan Province, were detained by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.

It is worth noting that Fardin Khoshkhaah had previously been arrested by security forces during the nationwide protests in 2022 in Oshnavieh. After undergoing interrogation and investigation at Branch 2 of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office in Oshnavieh, he was released on bail.
During the judicial process, he was subsequently sentenced by Judge Abutaleb Jalilpour, the head of Branch 101 of the Oshnavieh Criminal Court 2, to a total of 5 years and 3 months in prison on charges of disrupting public order and peace, disobeying officers during their duty, and intentional destruction of public property.

روز دوشنبه ۲۰ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲، زانیار مقدور و فردین خوش خواهش، اهل شهرستان اشنویه از توابع استان آذربایجان غربی، پس از بازداشت توسط نیروهای امنیتی به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شدند.
براساس این گزارش، با توجه به محرومیت فریدن خوش خواهش و زانیار مقدور از حق تماس تلفنی و هرگونه ارتباط با دنیای خارج از بازداشتگاه از وضعیت این افراد اطلاعی حاصل نشده است.
لازم به اشاره است، فردین خوش خواهش، پیش از این هم در جریان، اعتراضات سراسری ١۴٠١ در شهرستان اشنویه توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت و پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها و بازپرسی در شعبه ۲ دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب اشنویه، با تودیع قرار وثیقه آزاد شد.
با آغاز مراحل دادرسی، سپس توسط قاضی ابوطالب جلیل پور، رئیس شعبه ۱۰۱ دادگاه کیفری ۲ اشنویه از بابت اتهام (اخلال در نظم و آسایش عمومی)، (تمرد از دستور ماموران هنگام انجام وظیفه) و (تخریب عمدی اموال عمومی) در مجموع به ۵ سال و ۳ ماه حب تعزیری محکوم شده بود.
