On 8 September 2023, Youssef Ahmadi, Mohammad Karimi, Basit Karimi, and Mohammad Faizi were sentenced to death and imprisonment by the judge of the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court in Sanandaj.
These individuals, residents of Baneh County, were sentenced to death and a total of 65 years of imprisonment following several court sessions. They presented their defenses to the judge during four court sessions but were deprived of access to legal counsel and other civil rights during the interrogation and investigation stages.
According to the ruling issued on 3 September 2023, Youssef Ahmadi was sentenced to death for actions against national security through armed struggle, Mohammad Karimi received a 25-year prison sentence for complicity in armed struggle, and both Basit Karimi and Mohammad Faizi were each sentenced to 20 years in prison for complicity in armed struggle.
These citizens were previously tried in three court sessions, with the fourth session held on 27 August 2023 during which their defenses were presented to the judge.
Youssef Ahmadi, Mohammad Karimi, Basit Karimi, and Mohammad Faizi were arrested by security forces in Baneh County in early May 2020 and were subsequently transferred to a detention center of a security agency in Sanandaj before being moved to the quarantine section of Sanandaj Central Prison.
در تاریخ ۱۷ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲، یوسف احمدی، محمد کریمی، باسط کریمی و محمد فیضی، توسط قاضی شعبه اول دادگاه انقلاب سنندج به اعدام و حبس تعزیری محکوم شدند.
این افراد، شهروندان اهل شهرستان بانه، پس از برگزاری چند جلسه دادرسی، به اعدام و در مجموع به ۶۵ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شدند. آن ها در چهار جلسه دادرسی دفاعیات خود را به قاضی دادگاه ارائه کردند، اما در مراحل بازجویی و بازپرسی از حق دسترسی به وکیل و سایر حقوق شهروندی محروم بودند.
براساس حکم صادره که در تاریخ ۱۲ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲ به متهمان و وکلای آن ها ابلاغ شده، یوسف احمدی به اتهام اقدام علیه امنیت ملی از طریق مبارزه مسلحانه به اعدام، محمد کریمی به اتهام معاونت در مبارزه مسلحانه به تحمل ۲۵ سال حبس تعزیری، و باسط کریمی و محمد فیضی هر یک به اتهام معاونت در مبارزه مسلحانه به تحمل ۲۰ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شدند.
این شهروندان پیشتر در سه جلسه دادرسی محاکمه شدند و چهارمین جلسه دادرسی در تاریخ ۵ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲ برگزار و دفاعیات آن ها به قاضی ارائه شد.
یوسف احمدی، محمد کریمی، باسط کریمی و محمد فیضی، اوایل اردیبهشت ماه ۱۳۹۹، در شهرستان بانه توسط نیروهای امنیتی دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه یکی از نهادهای امنیتی در سنندج، به بند قرنطینه زندان مرکزی سنندج منتقل شدند.
