ایمان شامگاه ۱۸ دی ماه در سبزه میدان زنجان هدف اصابت گلوله قرار گرفت و به بیمارستان منتقل شد. او بر اثر شدت جراحات جان باخت و پیکرش به سردخانه بیمارستان منتقل شد. خانواده او پس از پیگیری متوجه شدند که نیروهای امنیتی قصد دارند پیکر ایمان را به خاک بسپارند. آن ها توانستند در آخرین دقایق خود را به محل خاکسپاری برسانند. پیکر ایمان در آرامستان «بهشت زهرا» زنجان به خاک سپرده شد. در آخرین پست اینستاگرام ایمان، ویدیویی از تصاویر کشته شدگان و آسیب دیدگان منتشر شده بود.

He was killed in a shooting in the city of Zanjan on Thursday, 8 January 2026 (18 Dey 1404).
Iman was shot in Sabzeh Meydan, Zanjan, on the evening of 8 January 2024 and was taken to the hospital. He succumbed to his injuries, and his body was transferred to the hospital morgue. His family later discovered that security forces intended to bury Iman's body. They managed to reach the burial site at the last moment. Iman's body was laid to rest in the Behesht-e Zahra cemetery in Zanjan. In his last Instagram post, a video featuring images of those killed and injured had been shared.
