Javidnam Meysam Rahmati Killed in Andisheh Shahriar; Died While Trying to Save His Cousin
Javidnam Meysam Rahmati in Phase One of Andisheh a part of Shahriar lost his life during the suppression of public protests on January 9 2026 when he was directly shot by the suppressive forces.
According to witnesses Meysams cousin was first targeted with a bullet. Meysam who had observed the scene from above immediately went to the scene to pick up his cousins wounded body from the ground and save him. At that moment the officers warned him that they would shoot him if he came any further. Despite this threat when he did not stop to help his cousin he was shot.
Reports indicate that Meysam Rahmati despite his severe injuries tried with all his might to reach the door of the house but fell to the ground in the yard. After that the security forces removed his lifeless body from the scene.
The body of Meysam Rahmati was buried four days ago in Lorestan province.
According to available information Meysam Rahmati was a worker at a company located on the Karaj special road.
His death occurred while he was trying to save the life of an injured person; an act that once again shows that shooting at unarmed citizens has been carried out even during the provision of aid and that basic humanitarian principles and human rights have been completely ignored.

میثم رحمتی در فاز یک اندیشه از توابع شهریار در جریان سرکوب اعتراضات مردمی در ۱۹ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای سرکوبگر جان خود را از دست داد.
بر اساس شهادت شاهدان ابتدا پسرخاله میثم با گلوله هدف قرار گرفت. میثم که این صحنه را از بالا مشاهده کرده بود بلافاصله به سمت محل رفت تا پیکر زخمی پسرخاله اش را از زمین بردارد و او را نجات دهد. در همین لحظه ماموران به او هشدار دادند که اگر جلوتر بیاید به او شلیک خواهند کرد. با وجود این تهدید وقتی او برای کمک به پسرخاله اش متوقف نشد به سویش تیراندازی شد.
گزارش ها حاکی است که میثم رحمتی با وجود جراحات شدید با آخرین توان خود تلاش کرد خود را به درِ خانه برساند اما در حیاط زمین افتاد. پس از آن نیروهای امنیتی پیکر بی جان او را از محل منتقل کردند.
پیکر میثم رحمتی چهار روز پیش در استان لرستان به خاک سپرده شده است.
بر اساس اطلاعات موجود میثم رحمتی کارگر یک شرکت واقع در جاده مخصوص کرج بوده است.
کشته شدن او در حالی رخ داد که برای نجات جان یک مجروح تلاش می کرد؛ اقدامی که بار دیگر نشان می دهد شلیک به سوی شهروندان غیرمسلح حتی در هنگام امدادرسانی نیز صورت گرفته و اصول اولیه انسانی و حقوق بشری به طور کامل نادیده گرفته شده است.
