در تظاهرات شهر ری در سی شهریور شرکت کرد و بر اثر اصابت گلوله نیروهای امنیتی رژیم به شاهرگ پایش و خونریزی زیاد کشته شد. بر روی سنگ قبر او تاریخ مرگ سی ویکم شهریور درج شده.
