Mohammad Mehdi Mohammadi Rahbari, born in 1998 and a resident of Varamin, Tehran Province, a social media activist, is currently detained without clear charges in Ward 4 of Evin Prison. He has been sentenced by the judge of the Tehran Revolutionary Court to a total of six years in prison, a monetary fine, and a travel ban.
A knowledgeable source stated that following the verdict issued by the judge of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, Mr. Mohammadi Rahbari was sentenced to five years in prison for "assembly and collusion with the intent to disrupt national security" and to one year in prison for "propaganda activities against the regime." He was also fined 2.5 billion rials and given an additional punishment of a two-year travel ban.
Mohammad Mehdi Mohammadi Rahbari received this sentence despite being deprived of his basic rights as a defendant from the moment of his arrest and during interrogations and investigations.
It should be noted that Mohammad Mehdi Mohammadi Rahbari was arrested on September 15, 2023, by officers from the Varamin Intelligence and Security Police. به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، محمدمهدی محمدی رهبری، متولد: ۱۳۷۷، ساکن شهرستان ورامین از توابع استان تهران، فعال فضای مجازی، محبوس و بلاتکلیف در اندرزگاه ۴ زندان اوین، توسط قاضی شعبه دادگاه انقلاب تهران، در مجموع به ۶ سال حبس، پرداخت جریمه نقدی و منع خروج از کشور، محکوم شد.
به نقل از یک فرد مطلع در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”در پی دادنامه صادره از سویقاضی دادگاه انقلاب تهران، آقای محمدی رهبری از بابت اتهام «اجتماع و تبانی به قصد برهم زدن امنیت کشور» به تحمل ۵ سال حبس تعزیری و به اتهام «فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام» هم به ۱ سال حبس تعزیری و پرداخت ۲ میلیارد و ۵۰۰ میلیون ریال جریمه نقدی و بعنوان مجازات تکمیلی هم به ۲ سال منع خروج از کشور، محکوم شده است.”
در حالی محمدمهدی محمدی رهبری، به چنین مجازاتی محکوم شده که از لحظه بازداشت و در دوران بازجویی ها و بازپرسی از حقوق اولیه یک متهم محروم بوده است.
لازم به اشاره است، محمدمهدی محمدی رهبری، در تاریخ ۲۴ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲، توسط ماموران پلیس اطلاعات و امنیت ورامین، دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه آن ارگان امنیتی پس از کوتاهی به بند ۲۰۹ وزارت اطلاعات، واقع در زندان اوین، منتقل شده بود.
