According to information received by Iran Wire 30yearold Ali Shirmohammadi was shot and killed by the Islamic Republics repression forces in the Moallem Park area of Ardabil on the evening of January 9 2026.
According to eyewitnesses "people in black" were present at the scene at the time of the shooting and suddenly opened fire: "A bullet hit his right shoulder blade."
According to informed sources Ali showed signs of consciousness before being transferred to the operating room.
He was transferred to Imam Reza Hospital at around 21:30 and at around 3:30 in the morning after hours of effort and heavy bleeding the medical staff announced that it was impossible to save him.
His family was also not allowed to see him in the hospital.
Ali Shirmohammadis body was handed over for burial four days later on the morning of January 14.
The family was called to the Behesht Zahra cemetery at around 5am and after waiting for about half an hour were allowed to see his body for a very short moment before burial.
According to informed sources no money was received from the family for the body and a few days after the burial the family was informed that Alis name had been registered on the “martyrs” list; an issue in which the family had no role.
Ali Shirmohammadi was single and worked in the field of composite construction. His mother had also recently passed away and his mothers fortieth birthday ceremony coincided with the seventh day of Alis death.
بر اساس اطلاعات رسیده به «ایران وایر» «علی شیرمحمدی» ۳۰ساله شامگاه ۱۹دی ماه۱۴۰۴ در محدوده پارک معلم اردبیل هدف شلیک گلوله نیروهای سرکوب جمهوری اسلامی قرار گرفت و کشته شد.
به گفته شاهدان عینی در زمان وقوع تیراندازی «افراد سیاه پوش» در محل حضور داشته و ناگهان اقدام به شلیک کرده اند: «یک گلوله به سمت پایین کتف راست او اصابت کرده بود»
به گفته منابع مطلع علی تا پیش از انتقال به اتاق عمل علایم هوشیاری داشته است.
او حدود ساعت ۲۱:۳۰ به بیمارستان امام رضا منتقل شد و حدود ساعت ۳:۳۰ بامداد کادر درمان پس از ساعت ها تلاش و به دنبال خونریزی شدید اعلام کرده اند که امکان نجات او وجود ندارد.
همچنین به خانواده اجازه داده نشده بود او را در بیمارستان ببینند.
پیکر علی شیرمحمدی چهار روز بعد بامداد ۲۴ دی ماه برای خاکسپاری تحویل داده شد.
خانواده حوالی ساعت ۵ صبح به آرامستان بهشت زهرا فراخوانده شدند و پس از حدود نیم ساعت انتظار اجازه یافتند پیش از دفن برای لحظاتی خیلی کوتاه پیکر او را ببینند.
به گفته منابع مطلع برای تحویل پیکر از خانواده پولی دریافت نشده است و چند روز پس از خاکسپاری به خانواده اعلام شده که نام علی در فهرست «شهدا» ثبت شده است؛ موضوعی که خانواده در آن نقشی نداشته اند.
علی شیرمحمدی مجرد بود و در حوزه کامپوزیت ساختمان مشغول به کار بود. مادر او نیز به تازگی درگذشته بود و مراسم چهلم مادرش با هفتمین روز درگذشت علی هم زمان شد.
