Narges Torbati, a resident of Mashhad, has been in detention for over 20 days and remains in legal limbo at Vakilabad Prison in the city.

According to received information, this individual was arrested by security forces at a checkpoint in Mashhad on 15 May 2026. It is reported that the arrest occurred after officers examined her mobile phone and noted her following of certain foreign media outlets.

A knowledgeable source indicated that security forces detained Narges Torbati after inspecting the contents of her mobile phone and transferred her to Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad.

Ms. Torbati is currently held in the section known as "Aramesh" at Vakilabad Prison. Despite more than three weeks having passed since her arrest, she remains denied the right to release on bail, and her case remains unresolved.

بر اساس اطلاعات دریافتی، این شهروند روز ۲۵ اردیبهشت ماه 1405 در یکی از ایست های بازرسی شهر مشهد توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت شد. گفته می شود مأموران پس از بررسی تلفن همراه وی و مشاهده دنبال کردن برخی رسانه های خارج از کشور، اقدام به بازداشت او کرده اند.

یک منبع مطلع در این خصوص اظهار داشت که نیروهای امنیتی پس از کنترل محتوای تلفن همراه نرگس تربتی، وی را بازداشت و به زندان وکیل آباد مشهد منتقل کردند.

خانم تربتی هم اکنون در بند موسوم به «آرامش» زندان وکیل آباد نگهداری می شود و با وجود گذشت بیش از سه هفته از زمان بازداشت، همچنان از حق آزادی با تودیع وثیقه محروم مانده و پرونده وی در وضعیت نامشخص قرار دارد.
