Saeed Golesorkhi was the youngest among eight sons. His brother Mohammad reported that security forces shot him in the knee in front of the Shahrud governor's office. His friends took him to the hospital, but his brother said that because officers were arresting injured protesters from the hospital, Saeed fled to his family home. Security forces stormed their house to arrest him and violently detained him. It was reported that security officers shot Saeed from behind in front of his mother and his brother's six-year-old child, killing him. They took Saeed's body with them and a few days later told the family to come and collect it. His other brother, Navid, is also in custody, and the family is under severe security pressure.
