On 11 March 2026, forces from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps surrounded a private vehicle near the city of Baneh and immediately opened fire. This resulted in the death of a young man named Arman Khaleghpanah, who was driving the vehicle.
Following the incident, three other passengers in the vehicle, all residents of Saqqez, were arrested by the Revolutionary Guard Corps with significant force. The identities of these individuals have been confirmed as Abdullah Mahjour, a former political prisoner, Salar Azar, and Sheikh Zahid Shahabi, both religious activists from Kurdistan.
It has been reported that after the arrests, intelligence forces from the Revolutionary Guard raided the family homes of the detained individuals. During these raids, an atmosphere of fear and intimidation was created as the homes were searched. Previously, it was reported that the search of the Shahabi family home was conducted with such violence that family members left the residence due to extreme disorder and threats from the forces.
روز چهارشنبه ۲۰ اسفند ۱۴۰۴ (۱۱ مارس ۲۰۲۶)، نیروهای سپاه پاسداران در اطراف شهرستان بانه پس از محاصرە یک خودروی شخصی، آنرا بلافاصلە به رگبار بسته اند که منجر به کشته شدن یک جوان بە نام آرمان خالق پناه، راننده این خودرو شده است.
همزمان،پس از قتل رانندە، سه سرنشین دیگر این خودرو که همگی اهل سقز هستند، توسط نیروهای سپاه پاسداران با اعمال خشونت شدید بازداشت شده اند. هویت این سه شهروند عبدالله مهجور از زندانیان سیاسی سابق، سالار آذر و شیخ زاهد شهابی از فعالان مذهبی کردستان، احراز شده است.
قابل ذکر است، پس از بازداشت این افراد، نیروهای اطلاعات سپاه به منزل خانوادگی افراد بازداشت شده نیز یورش برده و با ایجاد جو ارعاب و وحشت اقدام به تفتیش منازل آنها کرده اند. قبلا منتشر شده بود که تفتیش و جستجو در منزل خانوادگی خانوادە شهابی بە گونەای خشونت آمیز بودە است، کە پس از خروج این نیروها، اعضای خانوادە منزل را بە دلیل آشفتگی بیش از حد و همچنین تهدید نیروهای سپاه ترک کردەاند.
