Ayoub Sharifi, a 25-year-old young man from the Qashqai tribe living in the "Eram district" of Dashtestan County in Bushehr Province, was shot dead by repressive agents of the Islamic Republic in the city of Kazerun, Fars Province, on Friday, January 9, during the Iranian National Revolution.

Ayoub Sharifi, a member of the Qashqai nomads residing in the "Erm District" of Dashtestan County in Bushehr Province, passed away on 9 January 2026 in Kazeroon, Fars Province. The incident occurred during the popular uprising in January 2026, when he was shot by security forces of the Islamic Republic.

According to a knowledgeable source, the family of this young worker, who live in a traditional tent and face economic hardships, were compelled to pay 700 million tomans to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a "bullet fee" to retrieve their son's body. The Islamic Republic's forces demanded this amount from Ayoub Sharifi's father, and the family managed to gather the money by selling some of their sheep and borrowing from others. The father reportedly expressed fear that his son's body might not be returned.

Additionally, villagers reported that the Revolutionary Guard Corps conducted a "night-time operation" to secretly bury Ayoub Sharifi's body, preventing a public funeral ceremony from taking place.

ایوب شریفی جوانی از عشایر قشقایی ساکن «بخش ارم» شهرستان دشتستان در استان بوشهر روز جمعه ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴، در جریان قیام مردمی دی ماه ۱۴۰۴در شهر کازرون استان فارس با شلیک ماموران سرکوبگر جمهوری اسلامی جان باخته است.
بنا بر گفته یک منبع مطلع خانواده این کارگر جوان که در سیاه چادر زندگی می کنند و از وضعیت اقتصادی دشواری برخوردارند برای تحویل گرفتن پیکر فرزندشان ناچار شدند مبلغ ۷۰۰ میلیون تومان به عنوان «حق تیر» به ماموران سپاه پاسداران بپردازند.
ماموران جمهوری اسلامی این مبلغ را از پدر ایوب شریفی مطالبه کرده و خانواده او نیز با فروش بخشی از گوسفندان خود و قرض گرفتن از دیگران این پول را تهیه کردند. پدرش به نزدیکانش گفت: «می ترسیدم جنازه پسرم را هم تحویل ندهند.»
همچنین به گفته اهالی روستا ماموران سپاه پاسداران در ادامه با «لشکرکشی شبانه» پیکر ایوب شریفی را به صورت مخفیانه دفن کردند و مانع برگزاری مراسم عمومی خاکسپاری شدند.
