Rabi Maleki was arrested by security forces in Mashhad during a wave of detentions of Bahá'í citizens in Dey 1404 and was transferred to Vakilabad Prison. After being held for several months, he was temporarily released on bail in mid-Farvardin 1405.
In the ongoing proceedings of his case, the Mashhad Revolutionary Court has now issued a sentence of one year of imprisonment against this Bahá'í citizen.
ربیع مالکی در دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ در جریان موج بازداشت شهروندان بهایی در مشهد توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت و به زندان وکیل آباد منتقل شده بود. وی پس از چند ماه بازداشت، در اواسط فروردین ۱۴۰۵ با تودیع وثیقه به صورت موقت از زندان آزاد شد.
اکنون و در ادامه روند رسیدگی به پرونده وی، دادگاه انقلاب مشهد حکم یک سال حبس تعزیری را علیه این شهروند بهایی صادر کرده است.
