According to Human Rights in Iran, in the late hours of Wednesday, July 19, 2023, Leila Ziafar, a Twitter activist, was arrested after 3 security agents raided her home, with a judicial order, on the charge of publishing a tweet against the mandatory hijab.
According to this report, the arrest of Leila Ziafar was put on the agenda of the security forces after that. This virtual activist, a few hours before the arrest, posted a tweet on his personal page and wrote: "We were martyred for removing the hijab and it is impossible to return from this path."
As of this writing, there is no information about the place of detention, the name of the security agency, and the legal basis of the accusations attributed to Leila Ziafar.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، در ساعات پایانی چهارشنبه ۲۸ تیر ماه ۱۴۰۲، لیلا ضیافر، فعال توئیتری، در پی یورش ۳ ماموران امنیتی به منزل وی، با دستور قضایی، به اتهام انتشار یک توئیت در مخالفت با حجاب اجباری، بازداشت شد.
براساس این گزارش، بازداشت لیلا ضیافر، پس از آن در دستور کار نیروهای امنیتی قرار گرفته این فعال فشای مجازی، چند ساعت قبل از بازداشت با انتشار توئیتی در صفحه شخصی خود نوشته بود:”ما برای برداشتن حجاب، شهید دادیم و محال است از این راه برگردیم.”
تا لحظه تنظیم این خبر، از مکان نگهداری، نام ارگان امنیتی و از مصادیق حقوقی اتهامات منتسب شده به لیلا ضیافر، اطلاعی حاصل نشده است.
