Ilyan Ben Rashid, originally from Khuzestan, resides in Shahin Shahr. He was arrested during the protests in December 2025. Reports indicate that his death sentence was communicated to others through several friends and neighbours. The main part of his case remains open in the Revolutionary Court of Isfahan, with a hearing held via video conference in mid-April 2026 at the Fifth Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Isfahan. He faces serious charges, including waging war against the state through participation in the destruction of public property, assembly and collusion to commit crimes against national security, and propaganda activities against the regime. No verdict has been issued for this part of the case yet.
Ilyan Ben Rashid was arrested by security forces on Thursday, 22 January 2026, during public protests in Shahin Shahr. After being charged at the Second Branch of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office in the city, he was transferred to Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan, where he has been held since.
Reports suggest that the detainee has been deprived of the right to access a chosen lawyer and a fair trial throughout his detention and legal proceedings. Additionally, due to the absence of his parents, he lived with his grandparents before his arrest. The advanced age and health conditions of his family members have posed significant challenges in pursuing his legal status in judicial authorities.

گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که حکم اعدام او از طریق چند تن از دوستان و همسایگان به دیگران اطلاع رسانی شده است. بخش اصلی پرونده او در دادگاه انقلاب اصفهان باز است و جلسه دادرسی این بخش از پرونده، اواسط فروردین ماه 1405 به صورت ویدیو کنفرانس در شعبه پنجم دادگاه انقلاب اصفهان برگزار شد. او با اتهامات سنگین و امنیتی از جمله محاربه از طریق مشارکت در تخریب اموال عمومی، اجتماع و تبانی برای ارتکاب جرم بر ضد امنیت ملی و فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام مواجه است و تاکنون حکمی برای این بخش صادر نشده است.
ایلیا بن رشید در روز پنج شنبه دوم بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۴، در جریان اعتراضات مردمی شاهین شهر توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت شد. او پس از تفهیم اتهام در شعبه دوم دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب این شهر، به زندان دستگرد اصفهان منتقل شد و از آن زمان تاکنون در این زندان محبوس است.
گزارش ها نشان می دهند که این معترض در تمام طول دوران بازداشت و دادرسی، از حق دسترسی به وکیل تعیینی و دادرسی منصفانه محروم بوده است. همچنین به دلیل فقدان والدین، پیش از بازداشت با پدربزرگ و مادربزرگ خود زندگی می کرد و به دلیل کهولت سن و وضعیت جسمانی اعضای خانواده، پیگیری وضعیت حقوقی او در مراجع قضایی با دشواری های فراوانی روبه رو بوده است.
