According to Hal Vash, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Hossein Shahouzehi, a 29-year-old son of Heydar from Zahedan and a Baloch political-religious prisoner, who was arrested on December 10, 2022, by plainclothes forces affiliated with the IRGC Intelligence in Mashhad, is at risk of imminent execution after his death sentence was issued and confirmed by the Supreme Court.
According to Hal Vash sources, Hossein Shahouzehi was arrested by IRGC Intelligence forces while he was on a bus at the Mashhad terminal and was held for about six months under severe physical and mental torture in the detention center of this institution. During this time, he was deprived of contact with his family and access to a lawyer.
Sources added that security agencies accused him of "carrying weapons," "attempting to assassinate Ahmad Alamolhoda, the Supreme Leader's representative in Khorasan Razavi," and "planning an attack on the Mashhad governorate." After a case was filed in the Mashhad Revolutionary Court, a death sentence was issued for him, and his appeal was rejected by the Supreme Court.
Previously, state media, by releasing a video of the forced confessions of these two Baloch citizens, had attributed them to membership in the Jaish al-Adl group. Relatives of Hossein Shahouzehi, while rejecting this accusation, say that security forces placed their hands on the Quran and asked him to confess in front of the camera, promising him freedom—a promise that was never fulfilled.

به گزارش حال وش / امروز چهارشنبه ۱۶ مهرماه ۱۴۰۴، حسین شاهوزهی ۲۹ ساله، فرزند حیدر و اهل زاهدان، زندانی سیاسی –عقیدتی بلوچ که در تاریخ ۱۹ آذرماه ۱۴۰۱ توسط نیروهای لباس شخصی وابسته به اطلاعات سپاه در مشهد بازداشت شده بود، پس از صدور حکم اعدام و تأیید آن در دیوان عالی کشور، در خطر اجرای قریب الوقوع حکم قرار گرفته است.
به گفتهٔ منابع حال وش، حسین شاهوزهی در حالی که سوار بر یک اتوبوس در ترمینال مشهد بوده، توسط نیروهای اطلاعات سپاه بازداشت و حدود شش ماه تحت شکنجه های شدید جسمی و روحی در بازداشتگاه این نهاد نگهداری شده است. در این مدت، وی از تماس با خانواده و دسترسی به وکیل محروم بوده است.
منابع افزوده اند: نهادهای امنیتی او را به «حمل سلاح»، «تلاش برای ترور احمد علم الهدی، نماینده ولی فقیه در خراسان رضوی» و «برنامه ریزی برای حمله به استانداری مشهد» متهم کرده اند. پس از تشکیل پرونده در دادگاه انقلاب مشهد، حکم اعدام برای او صادر و اعتراض وی نیز در دیوان عالی کشور رد شده است.
