احسان روز سه شنبه 2 آگوست 2022 به همراه برادرش (هومن ناصری) دستگیر و پس از سه روز توسط پلیس امنیت کرج روانه زندان شدند. روز جمعه ۲ سپتامبر 2022 با قرار وثیقه (هر کدام یک میلیارد تومان) آزاد شدند. هر دو نفر به شش ماه حبس تعزیری و ۵۰ ضربه شلاق محکوم شدند.
