Jamal Khodarahmi, a civil activist from Sanandaj, has been sentenced by one of the branches of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court to a two-year suspended prison term and a fine of four million tomans.
Jamal Khodarahmi was arrested on 4 January 2026 during a raid by government forces at his residence in Sanandaj. After 25 days of interrogation, he was temporarily released on bail pending the completion of legal proceedings.
