محسن با شلیک مستقیم گلوله از سوی نیروی انتظامی جان خود را از دست داد. گلوله از پشت به او اصابت کرده و به قلبش رسیده بود. ویدیویی از لحظه بعد از تیر خوردن او و امیرحسین خدادائی در نجف آباد در شبکه های اجتماعی منتشر شده است. محسن را به بیمارستان منتظری نجف آباد رساندند، اما اصابت گلوله به قلب باعث شد که او جان ببازد. گزارش شده است که همان شب پیکر محسن با کمک مردم از بیمارستان خارج شد تا به دست ماموران امنیتی نیفتد و روز بعد به خاک سپرده شد. گفته شده است که گلوله ای که به محسن شلیک شد، متعلق به نوعی سلاح کمری بوده است. محسن در بازار نجف آباد صاحب کافه ای به نام کافه TITI بود. او علاقه مند به راه اندازی یک پاستافروشی در نجف آباد بود. همچنین گزارش شده است که محسن علاقه مند به شعر و هنر بوده است.

Mohsen Abbasi, a 21 year old, was killed by a live bullet fired by the Islamic Republic of Iran on January 8, 2026 (18 Dey 1404) in Najafabad, Isfahan.
Mohsen lost his life due to a direct gunshot fired by law enforcement. The bullet struck him from behind and reached his heart. A video capturing the moment after he and Amirhossein Khodadayi were shot in Najafabad has been circulated on social media. Mohsen was taken to Montazeri Hospital in Najafabad, but the bullet's impact on his heart resulted in his death. It has been reported that on the same night, Mohsen's body was removed from the hospital with the help of locals to prevent it from falling into the hands of security forces, and he was buried the following day. It is said that the bullet that hit Mohsen was from a type of handgun. Mohsen owned a café named Café TITI in the Najafabad market and was interested in opening a pasta shop in the area. Reports also indicate that Mohsen had a passion for poetry and art.
