Nasrollah Shanbeh Zehi, a Baloch citizen and political-religious prisoner, was arrested in connection with an explosion that occurred in Zahedan on 14 February 2007. The explosion resulted in the deaths of 11 people and injuries to 31 others. Nasrollah Shanbeh Zehi, approximately 27 years old, was detained in Zahedan and was executed in public only five days after the incident, on 19 February 2007.
Reports indicate that Nasrollah Shanbeh Zehi was denied access to legal counsel and sufficient time for a defence, and his execution was carried out swiftly. Following his arrest, a video of his forced confessions was broadcast by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, showing signs of injury and bruising on his face and body.
The Jundallah group, which claimed responsibility for the explosion, denied the arrest of those involved in the operation. However, this denial and the lack of independent investigations did not prevent the execution from being carried out. This case has been documented as part of the archive of human rights violations against Baloch political and religious prisoners.
نصرالله شنبه زهی، شهروند بلوچ و زندانی سیاسی-عقیدتی، به اتهام انفجاری که در تاریخ ۲۵ بهمن ۱۳۸۵ در زاهدان رخ داد، بازداشت شد. در این انفجار، ۱۱ نفر کشته و ۳۱ نفر زخمی شدند. نصرالله شنبه زهی، در زاهدان بازداشت شد و تنها پنج روز پس از این حادثه، در تاریخ ۳۰ بهمن ۱۳۸۵ ، در ملا عام اعدام شد.
گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که نصرالله شنبه زهی از حق دسترسی به وکیل و زمان کافی برای دفاع محروم بوده و حکم اعدام او به سرعت اجرا شده است. پس از بازداشت، فیلمی از اعترافات اجباری او از سوی صداوسیمای جمهوری اسلامی پخش شد که در آن آثار جراحت و نشانه های ضرب و جرح بر چهره و بدن او دیده می شد.
گروه جندالله که مسئولیت انفجار را بر عهده گرفته بود، بازداشت عوامل این عملیات را تکذیب کرد. با این حال، این تکذیب و نبود تحقیقات مستقل مانع اجرای حکم نشد. این پرونده به عنوان بخشی از آرشیو موارد نقض حقوق بشر علیه زندانیان سیاسی و عقیدتی بلوچ ثبت شده است.
