He was severely beaten during his arrest, and his physical condition was reportedly so critical that he was taken to hospital under guard. Despite this, security forces have prevented any visits by his family or relatives, and no clear information is available about his current place of detention.
During his arrest Mahan Hasani was severely beaten by government forces and due to the critical condition of his health was taken to a hospital. Security forces have prevented any visits or contact with his family at the hospital and despite the passage of one week there is still no information regarding his whereabouts or medical condition.
