Mohammad Ebrahimi's sentence to 20 years in prison
Mohammad Ebrahimi, a young painter residing in Tehran, born in 1999, was arrested at his home on January 10, 2026. His family states that since then, there has been no news of him, and their efforts to find any trace of him have been unsuccessful.
From a legal perspective, the complete lack of information about Mohammad Ebrahimi's situation, his inability to access a lawyer, and the pressure to extract forced confessions are clear violations of the principles of fair trial, the prohibition of torture, and enforced disappearance.
