Additionally, five years of his imprisonment have been suspended. The sentence was issued under the law on "Intensification of Punishment for Espionage and Cooperation with the Zionist Regime and Hostile Governments."

امید پورفتح الله، یکی از بازداشت شدگان اعتراضات دی ماه 1404، توسط دادگاه انقلاب مشهد به 12 سال و شش ماه و یک روز حبس محکوم شد. پنج سال از این محکومیت به حالت تعلیق درآمده است.
گزارش شده است که امید پورفتح الله به اتهاماتی از جمله تشکیل گروه با هدف برهم زدن امنیت و تبلیغ علیه نظام، مجموعاً به این مدت حبس محکوم شده است. همچنین، پنج سال از مجازات حبس وی به حالت تعلیق درآمده است. این حکم بر اساس قانون «تشدید مجازات جاسوسی و همکاری با رژیم صهیونیستی و دولت های متخاصم» صادر شده است.
در جریان اعتراضات دی ماه 1404، امید پورفتح الله توسط نیروهای امنیتی در مشهد بازداشت و پس از مدتی با قرار تامین آزاد شد.
