Saeed (Shervin) Ijadi, originally from Sonqor in Kermanshah Province and residing in Alvand County, was arrested by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps intelligence officers in Qazvin Province on 26 April 2023. According to a knowledgeable source, Ijadi was severely beaten during his arrest, resulting in him losing consciousness. His physical condition was reportedly so poor that Choubindar Prison in Qazvin initially refused to admit him.

After undergoing interrogation and being charged with "field activity with the intent to commit a crime and disruptive actions" in connection with a Telegram group, as well as charges of "assembly and collusion to commit crimes against internal security," "propaganda activities against the regime," "membership in groups opposing the regime with the aim of disrupting national security," and "intentional arson of public property," he was released on bail of two billion tomans on 8 November 2023.

The First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Qazvin, presided over by Judge Asadi, sentenced him to a total of 21 years in prison. This verdict is related to a case known as the "Qazvin Youth Fighters" and is currently under appeal in the Supreme Court.

According to the issued verdict, Ijadi was sentenced to five years in prison for "assembly and collusion to commit crimes against internal security," one year for "propaganda activities against the Islamic Republic," five years for "membership in groups opposing the regime with the aim of disrupting national security," and ten years for "participation in the intentional arson of public property."

In accordance with the court's ruling, if the verdict is upheld, only the most severe sentence, which is ten years in prison, will be enforceable due to the application of multiple crime regulations. Additionally, the court sentenced him to a two-year ban on online activities and a two-year travel ban.
