Narges Mohammadi, an imprisoned human rights activist in Evin Prison, has stated that the health of Zahra Sayyadi, a fellow imprisoned children's rights activist, is in serious danger. Despite being diagnosed with cancer and medical opinions indicating that prison conditions are unbearable for her, Sayyadi remains incarcerated.
Zahra Sayyadi is serving her sentence while her medical treatment is incomplete, and she is returned to prison after each chemotherapy session.
Zahra Sayyadi, a children's rights activist residing in Tehran and a graduate in literature, was involved in advocating for the rights of working and orphaned children, children without identification documents, and literacy education for women and orphaned children before her arrest. She was sentenced to one year in prison last year.
Zahra Sayyadi suffers from colon cancer, and requests for a certificate of inability to endure imprisonment have been denied.
According to the Criminal Procedure Code, if a prisoner contracts an illness that worsens due to continued imprisonment, the judge responsible for executing the sentence is obliged to suspend the punishment until the illness is resolved or to arrange for the prisoner's leave.
نرگس محمدی، فعال حقوق بشر زندانی در اوین، اعلام کرده است که سلامت زهره صیادی، فعال زندانی حقوق کودکان، در خطر جدی قرار دارد. صیادی با وجود ابتلا به سرطان و نظر پزشکان مبنی بر غیرقابل تحمل بودن شرایط زندان برای او، همچنان در زندان به سر می برد.
زهره صیادی در حالی دوران حبس خود را می گذراند که مراحل درمانی او به طور کامل انجام نشده و پس از هر بار شیمی درمانی به زندان بازگردانده می شود.
زهره صیادی، فعال حقوق کودکان، ساکن تهران و فارغ التحصیل رشته ادبیات است. او پیش از بازداشت در زمینه حقوق کودکان کار و بی سرپرست، کودکان بی شناسنامه و سوادآموزی به زنان و کودکان بی سرپرست فعالیت داشته است. او در سال گذشته به یک سال حبس محکوم شد.
زهره صیادی مبتلا به سرطان روده است و تاکنون با صدور گواهی عدم تحمل حبس او مخالفت شده است.
بر اساس قانون آیین دادرسی کیفری، در شرایطی که زندانی به یک بیماری مبتلا می شود و ادامه زندان برای او سبب تشدید بیماری می شود، قاضی اجرای حکم موظف است ادامه مجازات را تا برطرف شدن بیماری متوقف کرده یا شرایط را برای مرخصی زندانی فراهم کند.
