was released from Greater Tehran Prison following the annulment of his prison sentence and the closure of his judicial case.

Hami Bahadori, a 26-year-old Bahaei citizen, was arrested by security forces on October 21, 2022, and transferred to Evin Prison. He was then transferred to Tehran's Great Prison on January 18, 2023.

On March 5, 2023, a court session was held to consider the charges against Mr. Bahadori in the 15th branch of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, chaired by Judge Salavati, without the presence of a lawyer. Mr. Bahadori defended himself against charges of "assembly and collusion to commit a crime against the country's security, propaganda activity against the Islamic Republic system, and propaganda activity in favor of the Bahaei faith."

At the end of this session, the issuance and determination of bail for his temporary release was opposed.

A while ago, he protested against the judicial encounters and the violation of his civil rights, which had been stripped of him due to his religious minority status, by writing a letter.

On April 9, 2023, Mr. Bahadori, along with a number of political and ideological prisoners, was transferred from Tehran's Great Prison to Evin Prison without prior notice. The second session to consider the charges against this Baha'i citizen was also held on June 10, 2023, in the 15th branch of the Tehran Revolutionary Court.

According to a Human Rights in Iran report dated July 30, 2023, Hami Bahadori, a Baha'i citizen living in Tehran and imprisoned in Ward 4 of Evin Prison, was sentenced by Abbas Ali Hozan and Khosrow Khalili Mahdiraji, judges of the 36th branch of the Tehran Provincial Appeals Court, to a total of six years of imprisonment, two years of prohibition from leaving the country, and confiscation of the items seized from him at the time of arrest in favor of the government.
