فائزه حسین نژاد، دانشجوی رشته مامایی و والیبالیست، روز جمعه ۱۹ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ در جریان تظاهرات در مشهد جان خود را از دست داد. به گفته نزدیکان خانواده، نام او تا مدت ها به دلیل فشارها و تهدیدها رسانه ای نشده بود و حتی مراسم خاکسپاری نیز بدون اطلاع رسانی عمومی برگزار شد. خانواده او اخیراً رضایت داده اند که نامش منتشر شود. بر اساس روایت های دریافتی، فائزه حسین نژاد در حوالی چهارراه میلاد، بلوار امامت مشهد، هدف تیراندازی قرار گرفت و پس از انتقال به درمانگاه، به دلیل شدت جراحات جان باخت. در جریان این رخداد، مادر او نیز مجروح شده است.
