In the continued wave of repression against critics and political activists, he, who was one of the signatories of the statement supporting Mir-Hossein Mousavi, was sentenced to six months of imprisonment by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This sentence was issued by Branch 23 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court on the charge of "propaganda activities against the regime" and has been communicated to his defense lawyers.
