Reza Eizanlou, a Kurdish citizen from Bojnord in North Khorasan Province, was arrested on January 10, 2026, following a raid by security forces on his residence in Karaj. Alongside him, two other Kurdish citizens from Bojnord, Asghar Rajabi and Mahdi Rajabi, who were working in a café in Karaj and living in the same house, were also arrested.

Reports indicate that a few days ago, these individuals informed their families in a brief call that they had been transferred to Ghezel Hesar Prison.

On February 16, 2026, Reza Eizanlou, along with Asghar Rajabi and Mahdi Rajabi, appeared in the second branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Court in Karaj. They were tried on charges of "assembly and collusion to commit crimes against internal and external security" and "propaganda against the Islamic Republic system."

Since their arrest, these three individuals have been denied the right to meet with their families and access to legal counsel.
