On 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026), this Kurdish citizen from Bukan lost his life in Tehran after being directly shot with military-grade ammunition by government forces.
A memorial service was held at the gravesite on 28 February for a deceased individual, attended by family and close friends wearing traditional Kurdish attire. Reports indicate that the Shirzad family faced pressure from security forces to cancel the mourning ceremony after receiving and transferring their child's body to Bukan. Despite this, the family proceeded with the mourning ceremony at a mosque in the city.
