On Saturday, September 5, 2026, Pari Samani and Roya Samani, two Kurdish sisters from Mahabad, were summoned to Branch One of the Preliminary Investigation Court of the Revolutionary Court in the city and formally charged with “propaganda against the regime.” According to an informed source, the basis for the charge was an allegation by the IRGC Intelligence Organization in Mahabad that the two sisters had been members of a Telegram group the previous year. However, the security forces have not provided any documentation to substantiate this claim.
On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, IRGC Intelligence forces raided the family home of the two Kurdish sisters from Mahabad. After searching the house, they confiscated their electronic devices and took them away. Without presenting a judicial warrant, the security forces confiscated Roya Samani’s mobile phone and laptop, as well as Pari Samani’s mobile phone. Following the raid and confiscation of their electronic devices, the two sisters were summoned to the IRGC Intelligence Office in Mahabad and interrogated.
روز شنبه ١٤ شهریور ١٤٠٥، پری سامانی و رویا سامانی، دو خواهر کُرد اهل مهاباد پس از احضار به شعبه اول بازپرسی دادگاه انقلاب این شهرستان به اتهام «تبلیغ علیه نظام» تفهیم اتهام شدند. به گفته یک منبع مطلع مبنای این اتهام ادعای نیروهای اطلاعات سپاه پاسداران مهاباد درباره عضویت این دو خواهر در یک گروه تلگرامی در سال گذشته عنوان شده است. با این حال، نیروهای امنیتی برای اثبات این ادعا مستندی ارائه نکرده اند.
روز چهارشنبه ٤ شهریور ١٤٠٥، نیروهای امنیتی اطلاعات سپاه پاسداران به منزل خانوادگی این دو خواهر کُرد اهل مهاباد یورش بردند و پس از تفتیش منزل، وسایل الکترونیکی آنان را ضبط و با خود بردند. نیروهای امنیتی بدون ارائه حکم قضایی تلفن همراه و لپ تاپ رویا سامانی و تلفن همراه پری سامانی را ضبط کردند. این دو خواهر پس از یورش نیروهای امنیتی و ضبط وسایل الکترونیکی، به اداره اطلاعات سپاه در مهاباد احضار و مورد بازجویی قرار گرفته بودند.
