Following the protests on January 8 and 9 in Rudan County, Hormozgan Province, Iran, several citizens of this city have been arrested. These arrests were carried out extensively and simultaneously, with reports indicating that several members of the Motamedi family were arrested and pursued.
Pezhman Motamedi, a political activist in Rudan, is among those arrested in this wave. Local sources report that security forces initially arrested Reza Motamedi, Pezhman's brother, during the protests. While Pezhman managed to escape, Reza was held as leverage, and the family was informed that he would not be released unless Pezhman turned himself in.
After this pressure, Pezhman Motamedi surrendered himself, but Reza Motamedi remained in custody. Reports indicate that Pezhman Motamedi was subjected to severe torture during his detention, and his physical condition has deteriorated.
In the continuation of this wave of arrests, Hossein Motamedi was also detained. Hossein is the son of Abdolhamid Motamedi and Sousan Amirzadeh. Local sources report that Hossein's condition is so concerning that his father, Abdolhamid Motamedi, has been hospitalized due to emotional distress.
According to available information, Ali Motamedi and Shahrbanoo Shayegi, the parents of Pezhman and Reza Motamedi, and Abdolhamid Motamedi and Sousan Amirzadeh, the parents of Hossein Motamedi, are all retired teachers from Rudan County. Ali and Abdolhamid Motamedi are cousins, and their families are recognized as prominent in Rudan.
Pezhman, Reza, and Hossein Motamedi were reportedly involved in the gold trading sector, and Hossein also played a role in managing the family orchard.
Local sources state that the arrests of these individuals were conducted simultaneously.
In this wave of arrests, Alireza Moallemi was also detained. Alireza is the son of Bijan Moallemi and Aghdas Motamedi.

در پی اعتراض های روزهای ۱۸ و ۱۹ دی در شهرستان رودان استان هرمزگان ایران شماری از شهروندان این شهر بازداشت شده اند. بر اساس اطلاعات رسیده به زمانه این بازداشت ها به صورت گسترده و هم زمان انجام شده است و در یک نمونه گزارش شده چند عضو از خانواده معتمدی بازداشت و مورد تعقیب قرار گرفته اند.
پژمان معتمدی فعال سیاسی در رودان یکی از بازداشت شدگان این موج است. به گفته منابع محلی نیروهای امنیتی ابتدا رضا معتمدی برادر پژمان را در جریان اعتراض ها بازداشت کردند. در حالی که پژمان موفق به فرار شده بود رضا معتمدی به عنوان اهرم فشار در بازداشت نگه داشته شد و به خانواده اعلام شد که در صورت معرفی نشدن پژمان او آزاد نخواهد شد.
پس از این فشارها پژمان معتمدی خود را معرفی کرد اما رضا معتمدی همچنان در بازداشت باقی ماند. بنا بر همین گزارش ها پژمان معتمدی در دوران بازداشت تحت شکنجه شدید قرار گرفته و وضعیت جسمی او وخیم شده است.
در ادامه این موج بازداشت ها حسین معتمدی نیز بازداشت شده است. حسین معتمدی فرزند عبدالحمید معتمدی و سوسن امیرزاده است. منابع محلی از وخامت حال حسین معتمدی خبر می دهند و می گویند وضعیت او به حدی نگران کننده است که پدرش عبدالحمید معتمدی به دلیل فشار روحی در بیمارستان بستری شده است.
بر اساس اطلاعات موجود علی معتمدی و شهربانو شایقی والدین پژمان و رضا معتمدی و عبدالحمید معتمدی و سوسن امیرزاده والدین حسین معتمدی همگی از معلمان بازنشسته شهرستان رودان هستند. علی معتمدی و عبدالحمید معتمدی پسرعمو هستند و خانواده های آنان از خانواده های شناخته شده رودان به شمار می روند.
پژمان رضا و حسین معتمدی به گفته منابع محلی در حوزه طلافروشی فعالیت داشته اند. حسین معتمدی همچنین در مدیریت باغ خانوادگی نقش داشته است.
به گفته منابع محلی بازداشت این افراد به صورت هم زمان انجام شده است.
در همین موج بازداشت ها علیرضا معلمی نیز بازداشت شده است. علیرضا معلمی فرزند بیژن معلمی و اقدس معتمدی است.
