On November 10, 2022, Ardalan Ghasemi was busy writing protest slogans with his friend on Taq Bostan Boulevard in Kermanshah, when he was shot directly by security forces from behind and lost his life.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network, quoting an informed source, wrote: "Three bullets hit Ardalan Qasemi's shoulder, kidney, and thigh." The officers, who was severely bleeding, transferred him to Talghani Hospital in Kermanshah, but "they did not allow him to be operated on quickly and Ardalan lost his life after a few hours as a result of severe bleeding."
This informed source also said that Ardalan Ghasemi's family paid 16 million tomans to the security forces to receive his body and were threatened not to disclose any information about their son's death.
According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Network report, the security forces "forced Ardalan Qasemi's family to sign a text stating that Ardalan Qasemi was shot by police officers while stealing a car."
The body of this protesting citizen was transferred under strict security measures to Gilan-e Gharb County, his hometown, on Sunday, November 12, and was buried in the "Taqil Cemetery" of this city.
روز ۱۹آبان۱۴۰۱، اردلان قاسمی با دوستش مشغول نوشتن شعارهای اعتراضی در بلوار طاق بستان کرمانشاه بود که از پشت سر، هدف شلیک مستقیم گلوله نیروهای امنیتی قرار گرفت و جان خود را از دست داد.
شبکه حقوق بشری کردستان به نقل از یک منبع آگاه نوشت: «سه گلوله به کتف، کلیه و کشاله ران» اردلان قاسمی اصابت کرده و ماموران او را که دچار خونریزی شدید بوده به بیمارستان طالقانی کرمانشاه منتقل کردند، اما «اجازه ندادند که سریعا مورد عمل جراحی قرار گیرد و اردلان پس از چند ساعت، «در نتیجه خونریزی شدید» جان خود را از دست داد.
این منبع آگاه همچنین گفته است که خانواده اردلان قاسمی برای تحویل گرفتن پیکر او مبلغ ۱۶ میلیون تومان به نیروهای امنیتی پرداخت کرده و تهدید شده اند که مطلقا درباره کشته شدن فرزندشان اطلاع رسانی نکنند.
براساس گزارش شبکه حقوق بشر کردستان، نیروهای امنیتی خانواده اردلان قاسمی را «مجبور به امضای متنی کرده اند که در آن عنوان شده اردلان قاسمی در حین سرقت خودرو هدف تیراندازی ماموران انتظامی» قرار گرفته است.
پیکر این شهروند معترض روز شنبه ۲۱ آبان، تحت تدابیر شدید امنیتی به شهرستان گیلان غرب شهر زادگاه او انتقال یافت و در «آرامستان طاقیل» این شهر به خاک سپرده شده است.
