On the evening of Thursday, 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026), Samad Ahmadi Beresari, a Kurdish citizen from the village of Beresar in Rudbar County, Gilan Province, was shot in the head by live bullets fired by government suppressive forces during protests in Rasht and killed.
Samad Ahmadi was married a father of two children and worked as a laborer.
His funeral was held on 21 Dey 1404 in his hometown Baresar village.
