On 8 January 2026, Somayeh Bahrami, a 33-year-old, was fatally shot during protests in Borazjan, Bushehr. She was a passenger in a vehicle passing through a checkpoint in front of the Borazjan governor's office when she died.
It has been reported that one of the vehicles passing the checkpoint did not comply with the officers' stop order, leading to gunfire. This shooting resulted in bullets hitting vehicles and individuals present at the scene.
Somayeh was seated in the back of a vehicle passing through the checkpoint, and no action was taken by that vehicle to provoke an attack. Her death certificate cited the impact of a hard object on her lungs and liver as the cause of death.
Reports indicate that pressure from security forces on Somayeh's family continues. Her body was handed over to the family at midnight on 11 January 2026, with permission granted for burial with minimal attendance the following day.
The fortieth-day memorial service for Somayeh is scheduled to be held on 20 January 2026 at the Borazjan cemetery.
سمیه بهرامی ۳۳ ساله در تاریخ 18 دی 1404 در اعتراضات برازجان بوشهر به ضرب گلوله کشته شد. او در حالی که به عنوان سرنشین یک خودرو از ایست و بازرسی مقابل فرمانداری برازجان عبور می کرد، جان باخت.
گزارش شده است که یکی از خودروهایی که از محل ایست و بازرسی عبور می کرد، به دستور توقف ماموران توجه نکرد و این موضوع باعث تیراندازی شد. این تیراندازی ها باعث اصابت گلوله به خودروها و حاضران در محل شد.
سمیه بر صندلی عقب یک خودرو در حال عبور از ایست و بازرسی نشسته بود و هیچ اقدامی از سوی آن خودرو صورت نگرفته بود که مورد حمله قرار گیرد. در برگه فوت سمیه، اصابت جسم سخت به ریه و کبد به عنوان علت مرگ او ذکر شده است.
گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که فشار نیروهای امنیتی بر خانواده سمیه همچنان ادامه دارد. پیکر سمیه در تاریخ 21 دی 1404 نیمه شب به خانواده تحویل داده شد و اجازه دفن با کمترین تعداد حاضرین در روز بعد به آنها داده شد.
مراسم چهلمین روز درگذشت سمیه در تاریخ 30 دی 1404 در آرامستان برازجان برگزار می شود.
