Ali Babolghani, 43, an upholsterer, was abducted on the evening of 8 January 2026 near Third Tehranpars Square on Kadoos Street. After five days of searching police stations, hospitals, and other facilities, his family identified his body at the Kahrizak Forensic Medicine Center among corpses stored in refrigerated containers at Behesht-e Zahra. Examination of the body indicated a stab wound to the thigh, and he died from severe blood loss. The official date of death recorded on the forensic certificate was 9 January 2026.

Ali Babolghani, born in 1982 and 43 years old, a resident of Tehran and living in Tehran Pars, died in a detention center of the Revolutionary Guards on January 9, 2026. According to received information, Ali Babolghani was arrested on January 8 in the vicinity of the Third Square of Tehran Pars, on Kadous Street, after being injured by live ammunition. A day later, on January 9, while in detention, he died due to severe bleeding caused by damage to the femoral artery. Reports indicate that despite the severity of the bleeding, he was prevented from being immediately transferred to a hospital, which led to his death. After Ali Babolghani's disappearance, his family and close ones searched for him for days, checking various places including streets, clinics, hospitals, prisons, morgues, and even Kahrizak. Finally, after six to seven days, his lifeless body was identified among a large number of corpses in containers at Behesht Zahra.

علی بابلقانی، متولد ۱۳۶۱ و ۴۳ ساله، از شهروندان تهران و ساکن تهران پارس، در تاریخ ۱۹ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ در بازداشتگاه سپاه جان خود را از دست داد. بر اساس اطلاعات رسیده، علی بابلقانی روز ۱۸ دی ماه در محدوده فلکه سوم تهران پارس، خیابان کادوس، پس از مجروح شدن با گلوله جنگی، بازداشت شد. یک روز بعد، در تاریخ ۱۹ دی ماه، در حالی که در بازداشت به سر می برد، بر اثر خون ریزی شدید ناشی از آسیب به شاهرگ سفید ران جان باخت. گزارش ها حاکی است که با وجود شدت خون ریزی، از انتقال فوری او به بیمارستان جلوگیری شده و همین موضوع منجر به مرگ وی شده است. پس از ناپدید شدن علی بابلقانی، خانواده و نزدیکان او روزها در جست وجوی نشانی از وی بودند و مراکز مختلف از جمله خیابان ها، درمانگاه ها، بیمارستان ها، زندان ها، سردخانه ها و حتی کهریزک را بررسی کردند. سرانجام پس از شش تا هفت روز، پیکر بی جان او در میان کانتینرهای بهشت زهرا و در میان شمار زیادی از اجساد شناسایی شد.
