On 1 July 2023, Khosrow Ali Kordi, a lawyer, was charged at Branch 903 of the Revolutionary Court in Mashhad. On 1 August 2023, he visited the Revolutionary Court in Mashhad due to two new charges, was arrested, and transferred to Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad. The new charges included "spreading falsehoods through computer systems and publishing case contents."

On 25 June 2023, Khosrow Ali Kordi had been summoned to Branch 901 of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office in Mashhad with a written notice for charges and the formation of a legal case. After representing the family of Abolfazl Adinehzadeh and attempting to secure the release of his clients, he faced legal proceedings initiated by the judiciary.

On 25 December 2024, Khosrow Ali Kordi, a lawyer and human rights activist, was arrested following a telephone summons to the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office in Mashhad. He was transferred to the central Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad by order of Judge Tabatabaei to continue his custodial sentence. Since late September 2023, he had been serving his custodial sentence under an open prison regime.
