"Erfan Sajjadi," one of the detainees from the protests in January 2026, has been sentenced in absentia by the Revolutionary Court of Bojnord to six months of imprisonment and a fine of 200 million tomans on charges of "propaganda against the regime." According to an informed source, "Erfan Sajjadi" was arrested by security forces on January 8, 2026, without a judicial warrant and was taken to an unknown location. After several days of arbitrary detention, he was temporarily released on bail in the form of a business license.
