اسماعیل عباسی ۴۳ ساله ۱۷ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات مردمی بازاریان در محله دیزل آباد کرمانشاه با شلیک ۱۸ گلوله ساچمه ای سربی از پشت و اصابت به ناحیه سر توسط نیروهای نظامیامنیتی جمهوری اسلامی مجروح شد و پس از یک هفته بستری بودن در بخش مراقبت های ویژه بیمارستان طالقانی این شهر در ۲۴ دی ماه به دلیل شدت جراحات جان باخت. مراسم خاکسپاری در همان روز در روستای «تپه افشار» کرمانشاه برگزار گردید. بر اساس اطلاعات دریافتی نهادهای حکومتی علاوه بر وادار کردن خانواده اسماعیل عباسی به سکوت آنها را تحت فشار قرار دادند تا وی را به عنوان «بسیجی» معرفی کنند اما خانواده از پذیرش این خواسته خودداری کردند. او پدر دو فرزند بود و در یک مغازه تودوزی خودروی سنگین کار می کرد.

Ismail Abbasi, 43 years old, was injured on January 7, 2026, during the popular protests by bazaar merchants in the Dieselabad neighborhood of Kermanshah. He was shot 18 times with lead pellets from behind, hitting the head area by the military-security forces of the Islamic Republic. After being hospitalized for a week in the intensive care unit of Taleghani Hospital in the city, he passed away on January 14 due to the severity of his injuries. His funeral was held on the same day in the village of "Tepe Afshar" in Kermanshah. According to received information, government institutions pressured Ismail Abbasi's family to remain silent and to introduce him as a "Basiji," but the family refused to comply with this demand. He was the father of two children and worked in a heavy vehicle upholstery shop.
