Benyamin Vahidi is a child labourer and an athlete in boxing and MMA. In 2023, he achieved first place in boxing and was striving to join the national team. However, the future of this young athlete is now affected by a legal case and the resulting sentence.
A branch of the Revolutionary Court in Bojnord has sentenced Benyamin Vahidi to two years of imprisonment and a fine of 100 million tomans on charges of "disturbing public order and peace," "destruction of public property," and "engaging in conflict with officers."
Benyamin Vahidi was not arrested during the protests. He had previously informed his friends that security forces were seeking to arrest him. Eventually, the issued sentence was executed in absentia, and security forces arrested him at his home.
Following his arrest, Benyamin was transferred to the detention centre of Police Station 11 in Bojnord. His family has been informed that he will be deprived of contact and visits until the 100 million toman fine is paid.
It is reported that Benyamin was denied the right to a lawyer during the legal proceedings, and the sentence was issued without his presence. The family has been informed that the sentence is final, and even after paying the fine, Benyamin must serve his prison term.

بنیامین وحیدی، کودک کار و ورزشکار در رشته های بوکس و ام ام ای است. او در سال ۱۴۰۲ در رشته بوکس رتبه نخست را به دست آورده بود و برای راه یابی به تیم ملی تلاش می کرد. با این حال، آینده این نوجوان ورزشکار اکنون تحت تأثیر یک پرونده قضایی و حکم قرار گرفته است.

پس از بازداشت، بنیامین به بازداشتگاه کلانتری ۱۱ بجنورد منتقل شده و به خانواده اعلام شده است که تا زمان پرداخت ۱۰۰ میلیون تومان جریمه نقدی، از تماس و ملاقات با خانواده محروم خواهد بود.
گفته می شود بنیامین در جریان رسیدگی به پرونده از حق داشتن وکیل محروم بوده و حکم نیز بدون حضور او صادر شده است. به خانواده اعلام شده که حکم نهایی است و پس از پرداخت جریمه نیز بنیامین باید دوران محکومیت حبس خود را سپری کند.
