۲۷ اسفند ماه دکتر احمد رحیمی و همسرش سهیلا حسینی با هجوم ماموران امنیتی به منزل شخصی آن ها بازداشت شدند.
ماموران خانه ی آن ها را به طرز وحشیانه ای زیر و رو کردند.
دکتر رحیمی استاد کامپیوتر دانشگاه منتظری مشهد بود که در دانشگاه فردوسی و موسسه اموزش عالی شاندیز مشهد هم تدریس می کرد.
دکتر رحیمی در سال ۱۴۰۱ در اعتراض به شرایط موجود استعفا داده بود.
