Ilya Sabouri Nasab, a student of social sciences at the University of Tehran, was arrested on 10 April 2026 during a raid by armed forces at a gathering of students from the universities of Tehran, Beheshti, Sharif University of Technology, and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. These students, who were graduates of gifted schools, were attending a friendly gathering with a former sociology professor when they were detained by officers without a judicial warrant and with the use of force. During the arrest, all mobile phones of those present were confiscated.
Reports indicate that after initial interrogations, 14 individuals were released, while four students were transferred to solitary confinement. On 11 April 2026, these four students were taken to the Mashhad Revolutionary Court and charged with "assembly and collusion against national security" and "propaganda activities against the regime."
At the end of this session, Ilya Sabouri Nasab and two other students were temporarily released on bail.
ایلیا صبوری نسب، دانشجوی رشته علوم اجتماعی دانشگاه تهران، در تاریخ 22 فروردین 1405 با یورش نیروهای مسلح به محل ملاقات تعدادی از دانشجویان دانشگاه های تهران، بهشتی، صنعتی شریف و فردوسی مشهد بازداشت شد. این دانشجویان که از فارغ التحصیلان مدارس استعدادهای درخشان بودند، به همراه یکی از اساتید پیشین جامعه شناسی خود در یک دورهمی دوستانه حضور داشتند و بدون ارائه برگه قضایی و با توسل به خشونت توسط مأموران بازداشت شدند. در جریان این بازداشت، تمامی گوشی های تلفن همراه حاضران ضبط شد.
گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که پس از بازجویی های اولیه، 14 نفر از این افراد آزاد و 4 دانشجو به سلول های انفرادی منتقل شدند. این چهار دانشجو در تاریخ 23 فروردین به دادسرای انقلاب مشهد منتقل و به اتهام «اجتماع و تبانی علیه امنیت ملی» و «فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام» متهم شدند.
در پایان این جلسه، ایلیا صبوری نسب و دو دانشجوی دیگر با تودیع قرار کفالت به طور موقت آزاد شدند.
