او دو ماه پس از تولد 24 سالگی اش در اعتراض به بی آینده بودن جوانان وطن به اعتراضات پیوست و در حوالی میدان شاهد تهرانپارس با شلیک دو گلوله به سینه اش کشته شد.

Mehdi Kermani was a companion and caretaker for his mother and planned to propose to a girl he had been in love with for years during Nowruz. Two months after his 24th birthday, he joined the protests to express his frustration over the lack of future prospects for the youth in his country. He was shot twice in the chest and killed near Shahid Square in Tehranpars.
