امیرحسین وندالوند فوتبالیست شامگاه جمعه ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان قیام مردمی در اسلامشهر تهران به دست نیروهای سرکوب جمهوری اسلامی کشته شد.
نزدیکان امیرحسینوندالوند گفته اند که او مشکل مالی و شغلی نداشته و «فقط به خاطر حمایت از مردم به همراه دوستانش وارد جمعیت می شوند. انها از باشگاه بر می گشتند ماشینش را جایی دورتر از محل اعتراضات پارک می کند و به جمعیت می پیوندد.»
به گفته شاهدان عینی در جریان برخورد نیروهای سرکوب با معترضان شلیک گازهای اشک آور این افراد را از هم جدا می کند و همدیگر را گم می کنند و در نهایت پیکرش را پیدا می کنند.
شخصی که امیرحسین وندالوند را پیش از شلیک دیده و پس از آن پیکرش را جابجا کرده به اطرافیان او گفته است: «امیر به همراه پسر دیگری برای دور ماندن از تیررس ماموران مخفی شده بود از او می پرسد «کسی نیست؟ رفتند؟» و ناگهان سرش را بالا می آورد در همان زمان یک گلوله جنگی به چشم چپش اصابت می کند.»

Amirhossein Vandalvand a footballer was killed by Islamic Republic forces in Islamshahr Tehran during the Iranian National Revolution on the evening of Friday January 9 2026.
Close acquaintances of Vandalvand stated that he had no financial or employment issues and joined the crowd with his friends solely to support the people. They were returning from the club parked his car away from the protest site and joined the crowd.
According to eyewitnesses the use of tear gas by the suppressive forces during the clash with protesters caused the group to disperse and lose each other ultimately leading to the discovery of his body.
A person who saw Amirhossein Vandalvand before the shooting and later moved his body informed his acquaintances that Amir along with another boy had taken cover to avoid being in the line of fire. He asked "Is there anyone? Have they gone?" and suddenly raised his head at which point a live bullet hit his left eye.
