Milad Zahrevand, a resident of Malayer, was arrested by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps during a public demonstration in the city on 26 October 2022. Born in 2002, Zahrevand was detained during the 2022 Iranian protests in Malayer and was sentenced to death. At the time of his arrest, his child was born. Government-affiliated media reported that he was sentenced to death on charges of killing a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps named Ali Nazari during the protests marking the fortieth day after Mahsa Amini's death. It was reported that Zahrevand was transferred from Malayer Prison to Hamedan Prison, and security agencies informed his family that the execution would be carried out soon.
On 14 November 2023, the prosecutor of Hamedan announced that the Supreme Court had upheld Milad Zahrevand's death sentence.
Milad Zahrevand was executed without prior notice on 23 November 2023.
میلاد زهره وند، شهروند اهل ملایر، در تاریخ 4 آبان 1401 در جریان یک تظاهرات عمومی توسط نیروهای سپاه پاسداران در این شهر بازداشت شد.
میلاد زهره وند، زاده 1381، در جریان خیزش 1401 ایران در ملایر بازداشت و به اعدام محکوم شد. او کارگر آسفالت کاری بود و در زمان بازداشت، فرزندش به دنیا آمد. رسانه های وابسته به حکومت گزارش داده اند که او به اتهام قتل یک عضو سپاه پاسداران به نام علی نظری در اعتراضات چهلم مهسا امینی به اعدام محکوم شد. گزارش شده است که این زندانی از زندان ملایر به زندان همدان منتقل شده و نهادهای امنیتی به خانواده او اطلاع داده اند که حکم اعدام به زودی اجرا خواهد شد.
در تاریخ 23 آبان 1402، دادستان همدان اعلام کرد که حکم اعدام میلاد زهره وند در دیوان عالی کشور تأیید شده است.
میلاد زهره وند در تاریخ 2 آذر 1402 بدون اطلاع قبلی اعدام شد.
