Mohsen Mohamadi

Mohsen Mohammadi, a protester during demonstrations in the city of Divandarreh on 19 September 2022, was injured by a bullet in Sepah Alley and passed away a few hours later at a hospital in Sanandaj. Reports indicated that he was severely wounded by a bullet to the liver and only received a blood transfusion at the Divandarreh hospital. During his transfer to Sanandaj, security forces did not allow a doctor to accompany him, and only intelligence officers were present in the ambulance. Upon the family's arrival at the Sanandaj hospital, they were informed of Mohsen's passing, and his body was transferred to Behesht Mohammadi.

Following Mohsen Mohammadi's death, security forces, aiming to prevent the spread of protests, moved his body to Behesht Mohammadi in Sanandaj without coordinating with the family. After the family's inquiries, his body was handed over at night and buried in the Divandarreh cemetery. On the day of Mohsen Mohammadi's fortieth-day memorial ceremony, security forces clashed with protesters after people returned from the cemetery, using pellet guns and tear gas. Two days after Mohsen Mohammadi's death, security agencies suggested registering him with the Martyrs Foundation, but the Mohammadi family rejected this offer and demanded the identification of their son's killer. Judicial and security officials, during court sessions, attributed Mohsen's death to Kurdish parties opposed to the Iranian government.

Mohsen Mohammadi was the son of Khalifeh Masoud and Rabieh, born on 25 November 1990, and was involved in wooden decoration work.
