Hasti Hossein Panahi is one of the thousands of Iranian teenagers who took to the streets and cried out for freedom after the killing of Mahsa Zhina Amini by the "Guidance Patrol." Hasti and many of her classmates in the city of Dehgolan in Kurdistan Province joined the nationwide protests.
For the first time since the 1979 revolution, students joined a public movement. Security forces identified and interrogated 14-year-old Hasti. Following this, Hasti fell into a coma for six months, and half of her body became paralyzed. She and her family were forced to migrate due to the harassment by oppressive forces and now live in the city of Munich in southern Germany, a city that has recently become a refuge for many Iranians.
