Tami Tara Hamifar Zadeh was a student who was killed during street clashes in Tehran in July 1999. Reports indicate that these clashes were related to protests against police and government-backed militia attacks on Tehran University. The Council of Protesters, formed by representatives of Tehran students on 12 July 1999, was tasked with addressing student demands and negotiating with the government. On 17 July 1999, this council confirmed the death of the student and announced that it was seeking information about other missing individuals. In statement number 3, the Council of Protesters also mentioned that her body had been transferred to Pol-e Dokhtar for burial. The delivery of the bodies of the deceased for funeral services in Tehran was one of the demands announced by the Council of Protesters on 13 July 1999. The council also reported that approximately 1,400 individuals had been arrested.

تامی تارا حامی فر زاده، دختر دانش آموزی است که در تیرماه 1378 در تهران در جریان درگیری های خیابانی به قتل رسید. به گفته منابع، این درگیری ها به اعتراض به حمله پلیس و شبه نظامیان هوادار حکومت به کوی دانشگاه تهران مربوط می شود. شورای متحصنین، نمایندگان دانشجویان تهرانی که از روز دوشنبه 21 تیر 1378 تشکیل شده بودند، مامور پیگیری خواسته های دانشجویان و مذاکره با حکومت شدند. در روز شنبه 26 تیر 1378، این شورا خبر کشته شدن این دختر دانش آموز را تایید کرده و اعلام کرد که پیگیر سرنوشت سایر مفقودین است. در بیانیه شماره 3 شورای متحصنین همچنین اعلام شد که جسد وی به پل دختر منتقل و دفن شده است. تحویل اجساد کشته شدگان برای تشییع در تهران یکی از خواسته های اعلام شده شورای متحصنین در روز 22 تیر 1378 بود. این شورا تعداد دستگیرشدگان را نیز در حدود 1400 نفر اعلام کرد.
